- distinguish the latest event from the deeper pattern
- identify one primary situation before adding a second-pass issue
- resist the urge to stack cards or jump to warfare too quickly
This Week’s Deep-Dive Practice
Work with one primary issue first. Use Situation and Discernment to identify what is most central. Note a possible second-pass issue only if it becomes clear; do not stack cards just because the situation is complex.
