Scenario 15 — Health concern
Troubling medical news is producing fear, uncertainty, and a need for peace and trust.
Situation (full narrative)
Rachel got a call from her doctor that left her unsettled. A recent scan showed something concerning, and more testing is needed before anyone can say exactly what it means.
She has tried to stay calm, but her mind keeps running ahead into possibilities that no one has actually confirmed yet.
Some friends have already started offering advice and stories about similar situations, which has not helped much. Instead, it has made the whole thing feel heavier.
At home, she is trying not to alarm everyone, but the uncertainty keeps surfacing in quiet moments. Simple things now feel loaded because she is wondering what might be coming next.
She knows she needs peace, but right now fear keeps trying to fill in the blanks before the facts are even clear.

- Separate those facts from fears, stories, and imagined futures.
- Identify whether the dominant issue is fear, uncertainty, grief, or need for wisdom.
- Choose one Authority card that establishes God’s presence and rule over what is unknown.
- Choose one Identity card so the intercessor prays from trust rather than panic.
- Choose one Situation card that best names the present pressure.
- State the prayer focus in one sentence.
